  • Description text goes hereThe Swooners perform at weddings, company parties, corporate events, anniversary parties, graduation parties, celebrations, birthday parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, holiday parties, swing dances, engagement parties, RV rallies, casinos, retirement communities, town/village gatherings, festivals, fairs, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, country clubs, house parties, and more!

  • The Swooners are based in NY in the summer and FL during the winter, but will travel anywhere to perform for you. The Swooners have performed as far north as Ottawa, as far east as Boston, as far south as Key West, and as far West as Tucson, AZ!

  • A set is roughly 45-60 minutes followed by a short break, and The Swooners provide a playlist for this break time so the music will continue while we break!

  • We like to look classy, and typically sport dress shirts, ties, suspenders, jackets, black dress pants and shoes, and our ladies wear black or colored dresses. If you have another preference, you can request it when booking!

  • 1. 1 set for cocktail hour and 2 for dancing after dinner. 

    1. All 3 for dancing after dinner and a playlist for cocktail hour. 

    3. A 4th set may be possible depending on your timeline!

  • Yes, we can! As we get closer to your date, we will go through all the details with you to make sure nothing is overlooked!

  • All we need is a hard surface to set up on. Our sound equipment won't function properly on grass, gravel, or dirt.

  • When you are ready to lock it in, we'll send you a contract to sign and you'll make a deposit via check, cash, or venmo. The remaining balance is due by the week before your event.

  • Sure! As long as we know in advance that you're ok with this. Please have them bring their own instrument/mic if they plan to play! This is usually a highlight of the evening!

  • The core quartet(4) is drums, bass, guitar, and keyboard. At least one of these musicians will be a singer. The 5 piece adds either a female vocalist or horn. The 7 piece adds a female vocalist and 2 horns.  The 9 piece adds a female vocalist, 3 horns, and a percussionist(congas, bongos, tambourine, shaker, etc)!

  • As far as what songs are actually played, we typically decide the set 1 of 3 ways.

    can hand select the songs from our songlist and we will play only those.

    2. If the most important thing for you is that your guests are having a good time and dancing, we prefer to use our best judgement and create the set organically.

    3. Hybrid the first 2 options. We will do our best to include your favorites and exclude your least favorites but otherwise will use our best judgement to keep people dancing!

  • Please feel free to make any song requests! If we think we can pull them off well, we will learn up to 3 of them for you! If we aren't able to perform them, we can always DJ them during our breaks!

  • Bar'chu et adonai ham'vorach!

  • We bring everything with us except electricity and long extension cords. We'll need close access to power.

  • Yes! We have a studio and can provide you with a radio-ready recording for your special day!

  • We know far more songs that we even realize, but our 200+ most performed songs are listed here!

  • A ballpark number is fine. We can figure out the exact details as the event date gets closer!
