“I have been following The Swooners since 2010. Since meeting the band, I was ‘swooned’ and knew I wanted them to play at my wedding some day. I NEVER wanted a DJ, I never wanted any other band. It HAD to be The Swooners. They were the first thing I booked when I started my wedding planning. I texted, called, emailed with Mark from the beginning and kept in touch throughout. He was very responsive and great to work with. My parents, who footed the bills were VERY happy with him and the band. My husband and I like everything they do- We told them the songs we DID NOT want them to play and they abided by our wishes. The band learned our first dance and did their version was better than the original. I loved it! I would suggest with their playlists telling them what you DON’T want to hear, and what vibe you like.. and letting them work their magic. They are fantastic at reading the room, and their knowledge of music and songs is broader than you can imagine. If you can’t tell already, I freakin’ love them. I was overwhelmingly satisfied with them as my wedding band. The music was everything I had dreamed of, and I can’t wait to see them again. Everyone at my wedding who didn’t know them fell in love with them. My dad ordered a Swooners tee from them and wears it around town ALL THE TIME! Haha. Everyone loved them and still talks about how much fun they had that night. I wouldn’t change a thing. I want to go back and re-live it over and over and over. I am a terrible dancer but when The Swooners are playing, I can’t NOT dance! We danced the entire night, EVERYONE even people I didn’t think would dance! It was so fun, and I wouldn’t change a thing! Every wedding we have been to since my own wedding, my husband and I tell each other how happy we are that we had them- and not the DJ or crummy band at whichever wedding we were attending. 😊 Book The Swooners!
